Hand reflexology

In hand reflexology, targeted pressure is applied with the fingers to specific zones of the hand. Each of these zones is linked to an organ or a region of the body, so the treatment has a beneficial effect on the whole organism.

Questions about foot reflexology: Good to know

Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions. Can’t find your question? Just write to me – I’m happy to help.

Ask a question

What happens during a foot reflexology treatment?

You lie comfortably on the treatment couch, fully clothed – you only take off your shoes and socks. Using the Hanne-Marquardt-Fussreflex® method, I work on the reflex zones of your feet with specific techniques. A treatment lasts 60 minutes. Ideally, allow yourself a little time afterwards so that the relaxation can continue to take effect.

What is the Hanne Marquardt method?

The method goes back to Hanne Marquardt, who played a key role in shaping foot reflexology in the German-speaking world. It works on zones of the feet that are associated with specific regions and organs of the body.

How much does foot reflexology cost?

A 60-minute foot reflexology treatment costs CHF 80.00.

Is it covered by health insurance?

From 1 January 2027 I will be EMR-certified. From then on, foot reflexology treatments can be billed through your supplementary health insurance. How much is covered depends on your insurer – it is best to ask them directly.

How can I book an appointment?

The easiest way is via WhatsApp, by email to helena.fiechter@gmail.com or using the contact form. Appointments are available on Fridays from 8 am to 8 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 6 pm. If you cannot make it, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

Where is the practice and where can I park?

You will find me at Mittlere Bahnhofstrasse 10, 8853 Lachen SZ, in the Kompetenzzentrum für Naturheilkunde (centre for natural medicine) on the 1st floor. There are 2 visitor parking spaces right in front of the building; more parking is available at the railway station and in the Obersee Center car park.

Who is foot reflexology suitable for?

For anyone who would like to take a break and do something for their well-being – it is often used for stress, sleep problems, digestive complaints or pain. If you have an acute inflammation, a fever or a vein condition, are pregnant or have any other health concerns, please talk to me before your appointment.
